I was born and raised in New Zealand as one of 8 children. Being in a large family I have always been around babies and children.  I became a single mum at 19, but I didn’t let that stop me from putting myself through nursing school in 2006. I graduated three years later as a registered nurse.

I was privileged to work as a community pediatric in-home nurse, doing well-child checkups and helping families have the information they needed to be prepared for their growing babies. As a pediatric nurse, my experience included, but was not limited to, breastfeeding support, nutrition support, sleep help, and many other important aspects of care.

In my spare time, I loved being a mum to my growing son, being a part of my local church, and opening my home to foster children in my local community. In the three years, I was a foster mum, I had over 80 children in and out of my home. It was a huge eye-opening experience. Although heartbreaking at times it was definitely rewarding.

I married the love of my life in 2012. Nick and I had known each other for over ten years and he lived in the United States. Once married, I started the process of migrating to the states. Once I relocated, I saw an unmet need. Many new parents were struggling to get their children to sleep. They lacked support and resources. The fatigue, frustrations, and anxiety caused by sleep struggles were eroding their homes, their jobs, and their marriages.

In 2015, I completed my training as a Baby Sleep Consultant through the international accredited Baby Sleep Consultant. In 2020 continuing my sleep training education, I received the title Advanced Sensitive Sleep Consultant, from the Institute of Sensitive Sleep Consulting.  They are also now using our REST model to help educate sleep consultant’s worldwide.

Now, a mother of seven, including one set of twins, I am able to use all of my professional and personal experiences to give back to parents in need. This is a huge passion of mine. I set out each day to offer hope and help one family at a time by offering support to new parents, as well as even the on-going care families need to receive.

My name is Grace Lindvall. I am a mom of 3 beautiful little loves and wife to my husband Will. Prior to joining the A to Z Sleep Team I was a teacher in the classroom for five years. I graduated from ASU in 2016 with an interdisciplinary degree, went on to teach at my alma mater high school and once our family started growing I knew it was time to make a shift. I eagerly joined Hannah’s team after having her help sleep training my daughter and realized that I LOVE the troubleshooting and configuring that it involves. One of my favorite parts of this job is being able to walk alongside parents and encourage them as we seek to get them better sleep. I firmly believe in the saying that sleep is not a privilege, but a biological right.

If you asked me what I wanted to be when I was four years old it was never a ballerina dancer or astronaut. It was always a mother. I had tons of baby dolls and spent my days lovingly feeding and rocking them. The drive to become a mother never left me through college and into my early years of searching for a career. Even though I always gave it my all, nothing ever felt right or truly fulfilled me. In 2019 my dreams finally came true and my husband and I welcomed our first son. Finally I felt like I had a purpose and i dived into motherhood head first. But unfortunately, I quickly realized that all my practicing as a 4 year old with my baby dolls had not prepared me for the real thing, especially when it came to sleep. One very late and desperate night I found Hannah and she gave me my sleep and sanity back. Years later she also helped me with my daughter.

While I was working with Hannah on my children’s sleep I developed a passion for pediatric sleep. For the first time I could see myself as more than a stay at home mom. I never wanted another mother to feel as I did during the depths of sleep depravation. My family is now living in Massachusetts on Cape Cod and I am so incredibly privileged to belong to a community that has many services to help new parents. Our greatest goal is the prevention of postpartum mood disorders. I am so excited to add my services and help my community in anyway that I can.

Although sleep is a biological necessity, that does not mean that it comes easy to every baby. There are so many pieces of the puzzle that need to be in place for sleep to come together. Expecting new and sleep deprived parents to figure this all out on their own is simply impossible. It is my hope that I can be a lighthouse for parents during the dark and seemingly endless nights and help them achieve all their goals.

  • We went to one of her free newborn sessions recently and the information has been invaluable. Even though this is our 3rd child we learned a few things we never knew. We were able to switch his nights and days almost immediately. At a week old he is already sleeping better and more content during the day than our first two children were.

I highly recommend Hannah's service, our four year old was waking far too early in the morning and disturbing everyone's sleep. We were all feeling tired and grumpy from being woken too early, this especially wasn't fair on his brothers having to go to school with not enough sleep. Hannah gave us a plan which was easy to follow and I'm happy to say our son is now staying in bed until the time we've set for him to get up. Thank you Hannah our family is happier and healthier for it!

Hannah is simply amazing! So glad we hired her for support. We signed up for her Email & text support (worth every penny by the way) when our baby was going through the infamous 10 month sleep regression.. on top of the sleep regression we were in middle of a big move from Asia back to the States, visiting families and traveling all over the place.. and came a couple sicknesses so we were just in a giant mess. So I made it a personal goal to give our baby the gift of good independent sleep by her 1st birthday and timing couldn't have been more perfect! She helped my goal become a reality and by her 1st birthday she was sleeping through the night on her own and now naps on schedule too. Would hire her again in a heartbeat should any new issues arise but what I learned from her is SO valuable and gave me a new sense of confidence as a parent. Can't thank her enough!

  • I was super skeptical, to be honest. I was just so fed up with wasting my money with professionals of all kind to help my little one. I am so glad I worked with Hannah! My quality of life as a new mom has improved dramatically! I started seeing miraculous results the very first day I started implementing the plan Hannah had given us to help my baby take naps during the day. I have struggled for so long and super maxed out on stress. I regret not buying the newborn package once my baby was born, it could have helped so much. Thank you Hannah!

Thank you for helping me figuring out the missing piece and getting my 7 months old daughter to sleep. She is my 4th and I really thought I had learned all i needed to know on the infant sleep topic. But exhaustion from 6 wake ups a night and unreliable naps brought me to your class. Now she is only waking once a night and napping like a champ! And it didn't involve cry it out. Thank you!!!!

Our son tricked us early on, he was only up 1-2 times a night to nurse and then right back down to sleep. Around 5 months of age, things shifted and we began the nighttime battle. Bedtime was taking 1-2 hours and he was up every hour or two all night. Within the week we worked with Kelsey Dressely we have a boy sleeping 11-12 hours a night, only taking a few minutes to fall asleep, and taking two naps at the exact same time every day, this was a truly life changing experience!! Highly recommend it.

  • positive review  We hired Hannah at 4.5 months old. Our daughter was bounced to sleep for every nap and bedtime, because that’s how we coped with her colic. Even when she grew out of the colicky phase, this is what we had grown used to. Sometimes it worked, but more often than not, it took 2-3 hours of trying to put her down. My husband and I were at our wits end. I’ll admit, at first, I was skeptical. I didn’t want a sleep training method that allowed my child to cry for long periods of time. This was not at all that. Hannah taught us so much about my baby’s natural biological clock, how to work with it, how naps effect nighttime sleep and how to map out the day when you can’t be tied to the house for naps. It was more training for us than it was for our baby!! By night 3, she was going down for the night within 20 minutes, and only waking once a night for a feeding. Right then I considered it success. Our stressful evenings were finally enjoyable. We are now almost 6 months old and she’s sleeping through the night! Almost 12 hours straight! I couldn’t have done this without the training and support of Hannah. Thank you from the bottom of my no longer sleep deprived heart❤️

I was lucky enough to have a one on one phone session with Hannah where we walked through her workbook and she assisted me in creating a personalized plan for my 15 month old daughter. She asked questions about our schedule and my daughter’s current schedule and personality and we created a plan that worked for us, our parenting style and our current schedule as full time working parents. She also assisted us in making a plan for when my daughter goes to daycare and turns 18 months so we can adjust to their sleep schedule and drop down to one nap. Not only was Hannah very personable, understanding and easy to talk to but she knew her stuff. I swear I haven’t slept in a year and we were SO DESPERATE for one night of uninterrupted sleep. We hadn’t slept a full night in 6+ months and naps were hell as well. She has always slept in her crib in our room and has some serious separation anxiety going on. Last night was our 4th night on Hannah’s sleep plan and it was our daughter’s second night in her room by herself. My daughter has slept a minimum of 10 hours straight uninterrupted ALL 4 NIGHTS she’s been on this plan. We’ve of course had to stay consistent and had 2 nights that were a little bumpy putting her to bed but overall she has adapted beautifully and is sleeping more than she has since she was a newborn and we have not had to just let her scream herself to sleep every night which is something I was not ok with!! I cannot say enough great things about Hannah and the work she does. She’s passionate about it and has followed up with encouragement and answered extra questions. She truly was a miracle when we needed one the most. I highly highly recommend having a session with Hannah if you’re struggling to get your little one down for bed or naps or want to plan in advance for your newborn. I will be putting these tips to work when I have a second child as well!!

Hannah is such a blessing and an answer to prayer! I thought since I had a toddler and been through the whole sleep thing with her, that I had it down, but I couldn't figure out our 4 month old. He was getting up multiple times throughout the night, and I couldn't figure out what kind of schedule he was on during the day. I was so exhausted. Hannah explained sleep to me, and how it works, and what things to do to best help baby to sleep. She gave me two sample outline schedules, that fit around my toddlers schedule, to follow. I was so nervous to implement the sleep training, but she was so encouraging and available. Each night I'd fill our our log for the day, and would have an email in my inbox the next morning giving feedback for the previous day. She would be so encouraging, and at the same time give me helpful feedback on how to alter it a bit for the day. It took a good week, but Kannon's sleeping totally adjusted and is now on a great schedule! He still wakes up a little more than I'd like (we're still working on it, and figuring it out) but it's so nice to know what to do to help change things, and that what I'm doing is right on track with what he needs. I don't know what I would have done without Hannah! It was worth every penny!

My 4th child, almost 17 months, was waking as many as 6 times every night. She would not go to sleep on her own, and would not soothe herself back to sleep when she would wake. She would be full-of-energy as late as 10 or 11pm and was resisting her nap. None of my kids were good sleepers as infants/toddlers and my 7 year old still wakes every night. After 9 years of sleepless nights I just couldn't do it anymore! Having 3 other kids (9,7 & 5), it is tough to keep a tight schedule, but I was determined to get my LO in a routine. I really needed someone to outline the appropriate schedule for my child, along with an explanation as to why this schedule was important, and to hold me accountable for keeping my LO (and myself) on track. Thankfully, Kelsey Dressely @ Dream Baby was there to help me. On the 1st day my LO literally stood in her crib for a total of 6 hours between naps and bedtime, even dozing off from time-to-time, eventually falling asleep about 10pm. Day 2 was sitting and by day 3 she was letting me tuck her in. Each day she cried a little less. It's been 2 1/2 weeks and she now takes 2 naps and puts herself to sleep. She still wakes multiple times at night but is able to soothe herself back to sleep quickly. I feel like I have so much more time in my day! I wish I would have had Dream Baby for my other 3 children and would highly recommend them to anyone struggling to get their little ones to sleep!

Hannah is truly amazing! Our 4 month old went from waking every hour through the night and only napping for 20 minutes at a time during the day to sleeping 12 hours at a night and over an hour for each nap within a matter of days! We saw results instantly after the first night and each day got better and better. I was that mom that was so against sleep training or letting my baby cry, but Hannah created a plan I was comfortable with. She is very knowledgeable about babies, their sleep cycles and growth and uses all of this to make a sleep training plan that is developmentally appropriate. She supported us every step of the way- texting and emailing to check in and answer all my crazy questions. Hannah's help had not only improved quality of life for my baby, but for my husband and I as well. Her services are priceless! Thanks Hannah!

  • I really regret not contacting her sooner. EVERY parent needs Hannah in their lives. My nickname for her is "sleep hero Hannah." Never in a million years did I think my 5mo baby would sleep through the night or even be headed in that direction. Before Hannah, our son was waking up every 1.5-2 hours during the night. We tried every sleeping contraption. He slept in the boppy lounger, in a rock and play, then a dock a tot, and finally as is, in bed with me. I was so desperate for sleep that my husband was kicked out and slept in our guest room. Now, Logan naps during the day and sleeps about 11-12 hours total with one wake during the night *IN HIS OWN CRIB!* My house is clean, I can shower and get completely ready for the day, and most importantly, my husband is back sleeping in our bed. This experience has been life changing and that is no exaggeration. I definitely recommend text support. However, I am now having separation anxiety Thank you so much Hannah!

EDIT (read original review first): Since my original review, we hired Hannah once again because my daughter's sleep got off track when she went through a major leap in language development. We saw early morning wake ups happening almost every day and we had a very, very, VERY tired and cranky little girl on our hands during the day every day. We contacted Hannah for help getting rid of the early wake ups. Hannah once again listened to us and formulated a plan to get our daughter sleeping longer and relieve stress for us during the day. After just a couple weeks of persistent work on our part as we followed Hannah's plan, our daughter went from sleeping from 7:30pm-5:00am to sleeping 6:30pm-6:30am. She was more well-rested, happier, and enjoyable during the day. Since the original shift in sleep habits, we have welcomed a new baby into our family and there has been SO much flex in our schedule. Our oldest has slept in so many different people's houses over the course of the last month and none of it has affected her sleep habits. Not only that, but we have slowly been able to shift her sleep to 7:00pm-7/8:00am, which is a better fit for our family's schedule than an earlier bedtime. She has handled the transition of a new sibling beautifully and we are grateful for Hannah's help in that. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ORIGINAL REVIEW: Hannah Peterson has been an incredible blessing to our family. Before Hannah helped us with our daughter's sleep, we were dealing with short naps (not more than 45 minutes), night wakings (2-5 a night), early morning wake-ups (5-6am), and we were all exhausted when we woke up in the morning. We "sleep-trained" our daughter around 4 months and taught her to fall asleep on her own, but now our problem was that she wasn't STAYING asleep. We contacted Hannah when our daughter was almost a year old. To be honest, we felt like we had tried everything - we had read countless articles and blogs and nothing was working. As tired as WE were, I can't imagine how tired our daughter was. Hannah listened to our concerns well and she thoroughly gathered information before giving us a plan of action. I felt that Hannah cared about us and what we were going through and she never minimized anything that I brought to her attention. A couple days after I filled out the initial assessment, Hannah got back to us with an AMAZING plan to help our daughter sleep longer and deeper. The plan not only included personalized information for us, but it also included a lot of general information about baby sleep. It didn't just tell me what to do, but why it was important. I learned about sleep debt and sleep cycles and it all made sense to me. Within days of implementing Hannah's plan, our daughter went from taking two 45-minute naps each day to taking a quick morning nap (30 minutes on purpose) and a long afternoon nap (2-2.5 hours). Never in her life had she napped that long! Additionally, our daughter started going to bed around 7pm and waking up between 7-8am!! I couldn't believe it. When it all started happening, we thought it was just too good to be true! But it's not been about a month of normal naps, no night wakings and reasonable morning wake ups. Without a doubt, I can say that Hannah is the one who was the catalyst for this change. She checked in with us throughout our plan and has continually offered to provide more support if it is needed. I can't recommend Hannah highly enough! She is a great sleep consultant and well worth your time and money!

positive review  I bought the online toddler workshop and still need to make the time to do it buuut I can attest to Hannah Peterson helping our sanity with our little man! At 7.5 months Hobbes was waking 5-6x every night with my husband or I going in to comfort him and 2-3 of those times were me feeding him. Plus Hobbes' crying would often then wake our 4 yo daughter! We were all sleep deprived and miserable! Within a week after buckling down and following a more rigid nap schedule and bedtime and taking into account the nighttime temperature dip, Hobbes was down to only waking once for a middle of the night feed. Within another week Hobbes was sleeping through the night, a full 12 hours, night after night after glorious night! We have had a handful of middle of the night wakes with some awful sounding crying/screaming and my husband and I decided to vere off the steady course a bit and I've ended up doing a single night time feeding. However, each morning after the single wake Hobbes had a new tooth or two poking through. We did what felt right to us at the time knowing we may be throwing the "sleep training" out the window. Much to our happy surprise the nighttime wakes have only lasted 1-3 days while the tooth pokes through and then our 9 month Hobbes is back to sleeping those wonderful 12 (or sometimes even a little more) hours without waking! He's even practicing his talking or pulling to stand in the crib if he wakes before it's time for us to get him up! Thank you Hannah for helping us help our infant to sleep through the night... now time to help us help our toddler!

  • I met Hannah at a Q and A session she did at a mom group. I just want to thank Hannah for her ever so helpful tips! I was an emotional mess last week. Knock on wood this is night 3 now with no crying or tears to go to sleep. She rolls herself right over onto her side or belly and falls asleep within minutes now. I'm so happy! positive review  At 4.5 months old, my son would only be nursed or rocked to sleep for naps and at bedtime. His naps only lasted 30 minutes max. After working with Hannah and Kate in an online workshop, Will now falls asleep on his own and takes full naps! I was so relieved when he accomplished his first 2.5 hour nap. I am so thankful for A to Z Sleep Solutions. I felt so comfortable and supported through the entire process, and I knew my son was in safe and capable hands. He is so much happier throughout the day because he is getting the sleep he needs. My husband and I finally have our nights back and I can finally get chores and relaxing done during the day. Thank you, Hannah and Kate!

positive review  It has taken me exactly three years to figure out how to properly recommend A to Z Sleep Solutions. I have officially taken the newborn class twice, naps 101, and just recently the preschool class ( this is not counting the numerous times I have reached out for help due to travel or sickness or a new addition to the family.) Our oldest is turning three and we just transitioned to a toddler bed. I was so scared. I had heard horror stories from my friends that had already transitioned. Because of Hannah and her team our gal was up one time in the last two nights. No fighting or tears involved. I feel that Hannah provided me with ALL the tools, the science, the support. I credit her for our great sleepers and a three year old that still naps every day. Our family feels so thankful to have met you Hannah, I am not sure what our sleep would look like without your help.

  • positive review  I'm so glad I worked with Heather to adjust my sons' sleep schedules because our entire family is happier as a result! With some guidance, I was able to put them both on the right track to getting the optimal sleep that their little bodies needed with just some minor tweaks here and there (that ended up making a big difference). Heather was always prompt with answering my questions and I always felt supported in my decisions. I was on the fence as to whether their schedules needed adjusting but I'm SO GLAD I reached out to Heather. Our household is now much more rested as a result. Thank you, Heather!

Hannah was absolutely AMAZING! My son was just over 8 months old and wouldn't go to sleep without being bounced or rocked for at least 30 min and still would only sleep a max of 3 hr stretch. By day 3 he was putting himself to sleep and only waking up once at night. After day 5 he was sleeping a solid 12 hrs at night and actually had an amazing nap schedule! We were all much happier ! So grateful for all she did for us !!!

positive review  After baby waking up constantly in the middle of the night (ending up in our bed every night) and needing to be held for 30-45 naps, we decided to get some much needed help from Hannah! It was the best decision we’ve made for us and baby in the last 7 months! Baby is now sleeping 12 hours a night + 2 solid naps a day IN HIS CRIB! He is able to completely put himself to sleep now without any help and Mom & Dad are able to get some quality time together while baby sleeps! I would highly recommend Hannah’s sleeping expertise!
