Certified Advanced Sensitive Sleep Consultant

I was born and raised in New Zealand as one of 8 children. Being in a large family I have always been around babies and children.  I became a single mum at 19, but I didn’t let that stop me from putting myself through nursing school in 2006. I graduated three years later as a registered nurse.

I was privileged to work as a community pediatric in-home nurse, doing well-child checkups and helping families have the information they needed to be prepared for their growing babies. As a pediatric nurse, my experience included, but was not limited to, breastfeeding support, nutrition support, sleep help, and many other important aspects of care.

In my spare time, I loved being a mum to my growing son, being a part of my local church, and opening my home to foster children in my local community. In the three years, I was a foster mum, I had over 80 children in and out of my home. It was a huge eye-opening experience. Although heartbreaking at times it was definitely rewarding.

I married the love of my life in 2012. Nick and I had known each other for over ten years and he lived in the United States. Once married, I started the process of migrating to the states. Once I relocated, I saw an unmet need. Many new parents were struggling to get their children to sleep. They lacked support and resources. The fatigue, frustrations, and anxiety caused by sleep struggles were eroding their homes, their jobs, and their marriages.

In 2015, I completed my training as a Baby Sleep Consultant through the international accredited Baby Sleep Consultant. In 2020 continuing my sleep training education, I received the title Advanced Sensitive Sleep Consultant, from the Institute of Sensitive Sleep Consulting.  They are also now using our REST model to help educate sleep consultant’s worldwide.

Now, a mother of seven, including one set of twins, I am able to use all of my professional and personal experiences to give back to parents in need. This is a huge passion of mine. I set out each day to offer hope and help one family at a time by offering support to new parents, as well as even the on-going care families need to receive.

My name is Grace Lindvall. I am a mom of 3 beautiful little loves and wife to my husband Will. Prior to joining the A to Z Sleep Team I was a teacher in the classroom for five years. I graduated from ASU in 2016 with an interdisciplinary degree, went on to teach at my alma mater high school and once our family started growing I knew it was time to make a shift. I eagerly joined Hannah’s team after having her help sleep training my daughter and realized that I LOVE the troubleshooting and configuring that it involves. One of my favorite parts of this job is being able to walk alongside parents and encourage them as we seek to get them better sleep. I firmly believe in the saying that sleep is not a privilege, but a biological right.

If you asked me what I wanted to be when I was four years old it was never a ballerina dancer or astronaut. It was always a mother. I had tons of baby dolls and spent my days lovingly feeding and rocking them. The drive to become a mother never left me through college and into my early years of searching for a career. Even though I always gave it my all, nothing ever felt right or truly fulfilled me. In 2019 my dreams finally came true and my husband and I welcomed our first son. Finally I felt like I had a purpose and i dived into motherhood head first. But unfortunately, I quickly realized that all my practicing as a 4 year old with my baby dolls had not prepared me for the real thing, especially when it came to sleep. One very late and desperate night I found Hannah and she gave me my sleep and sanity back. Years later she also helped me with my daughter.

While I was working with Hannah on my children’s sleep I developed a passion for pediatric sleep. For the first time I could see myself as more than a stay at home mom. I never wanted another mother to feel as I did during the depths of sleep depravation. My family is now living in Massachusetts on Cape Cod and I am so incredibly privileged to belong to a community that has many services to help new parents. Our greatest goal is the prevention of postpartum mood disorders. I am so excited to add my services and help my community in anyway that I can.

Although sleep is a biological necessity, that does not mean that it comes easy to every baby. There are so many pieces of the puzzle that need to be in place for sleep to come together. Expecting new and sleep deprived parents to figure this all out on their own is simply impossible. It is my hope that I can be a lighthouse for parents during the dark and seemingly endless nights and help them achieve all their goals.

  • positive review  I bought the online toddler workshop and still need to make the time to do it buuut I can attest to Hannah Peterson helping our sanity with our little man! At 7.5 months Hobbes was waking 5-6x every night with my husband or I going in to comfort him and 2-3 of those times were me feeding him. Plus Hobbes' crying would often then wake our 4 yo daughter! We were all sleep deprived and miserable! Within a week after buckling down and following a more rigid nap schedule and bedtime and taking into account the nighttime temperature dip, Hobbes was down to only waking once for a middle of the night feed. Within another week Hobbes was sleeping through the night, a full 12 hours, night after night after glorious night! We have had a handful of middle of the night wakes with some awful sounding crying/screaming and my husband and I decided to vere off the steady course a bit and I've ended up doing a single night time feeding. However, each morning after the single wake Hobbes had a new tooth or two poking through. We did what felt right to us at the time knowing we may be throwing the "sleep training" out the window. Much to our happy surprise the nighttime wakes have only lasted 1-3 days while the tooth pokes through and then our 9 month Hobbes is back to sleeping those wonderful 12 (or sometimes even a little more) hours without waking! He's even practicing his talking or pulling to stand in the crib if he wakes before it's time for us to get him up! Thank you Hannah for helping us help our infant to sleep through the night... now time to help us help our toddler!

Hannah is a lifesaver! She is incredibly knowledgeable and so encouraging. My four month old baby boy was waking up several times a night and would only take one or two 10-15 minute naps a day. I had tried everything and was completely exhausted. Hannah helped me get Baby on a schedule and he now takes three solid naps a day and only wakes up once a night. A miracle!! It was hard work, but the sleep training I did with Hannah's support was worth every penny and worth the work. Baby is sleeping and happy, which means mom is sleeping and happy! The consultation and week of support Hannah provided was so helpful. I learned so much and felt so supported along the way. She's also so kind and fun to work with. My only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner! I highly recommend her!

Thank you for helping me figuring out the missing piece and getting my 7 months old daughter to sleep. She is my 4th and I really thought I had learned all i needed to know on the infant sleep topic. But exhaustion from 6 wake ups a night and unreliable naps brought me to your class. Now she is only waking once a night and napping like a champ! And it didn't involve cry it out. Thank you!!!!

  • Somewhere in a galaxy far far away, exists a place where babies sleep 12 hours at night, and 2-3 naps during the day...in their crib! Some parents and babies find this place on their own, and that is fantastic. For a long long time my husband and I (I am using hubbys FB page) heard about this place, but it never existed for us. From about 4-5 months old, our daughter Emma had an 'okay' nighttime sleep routine (with us just winging it as first time parents), but at 5.5 months she flipped her little switch and decided to heck with sleep. Her daytime naps have ALWAYS been a challenge for us, she was a serial cat napper and needed to be held most of the time just to get in 20-30 minutes of much needed shut eye. Although she is a happy baby, she seemed routinely tired throughout her days. After 6.5 mon, we were back to being awake every few hours during the night to feed her (since that is all we knew to do) and/or rock her with her pacifier with hopes of getting another couple hours sleep before we do the whole thing all over again...just to start the day with a overtired baby and hold her for her cat naps all day. I kept telling myself it's a phase (growth spurt/ teething/ etc. etc. etc.) she will go back to her better nights, but it only got worse. Almost like never ending newborn status. My husband and I were beyond exhausted, and pretty much just going through the motions of life every day. I finally decided to look into sleep training. "Sleep training" can be a scary word when you don't know what it means or when misused. Often times there are assumptions or judgy mommy blogs to warn against it or that it doesn't work. Also..it can be hard to ask for help as a parent, because often times us (especially mommies) are our own worse critics thinking we have to know and do everything right, and the thought of asking for help can feel like you've failed. However, in reality, you are being proactive to help your baby. Please do yourself, your partner and your baby a favor and ignore all of the assumptions and contact Hannah. You need the right sleep consultant to guide you through this delicate process. Honestly, I initially reached out to about five different sleep consultants. Not only was Hannah well accredited and the first to get back to me, but she scheduled our consultation that same day, then followed up with me after in case there were any other questions. All other companies took a couple days to respond, and when you are sleep deprived parent, a couple days seems like weeks. To say it's a game changer is an understatement, it was truly life changing for us. I knew right away during our initial consultation (when Hannah finished my sentences for me) that she was the right fix for us. It was like she had been watching us for the past month because she knew the problems (and solution) with barely any information from me. One of many things I learned from Hannah is babies are always evolving and changing, therefore we have to do the same as parents. What worked for Emma at 4 months was not working for her at 6, and so on. Hannah gives you the tools for current and future milestones so you feel confident moving forward. We did remote services and took advantage of the text support (HIGHLY recommend). My first thought reading 'remote services' was how could a consultant do all this when she's not next to us and in another state? Well, she might as well have been next to us! Hannah was there with us every step of the way to answer our questions, reassure us, and fine tune as we went through the process. We even added grandma to the group text for guidance on Grammy daycare day! Hannah sent us our sleep assessment (WOW - eye opening) in just a couple days and then we decided when to start the week of training. Night 1 = Emma slept 9 hours uninterrupted, Night 2 = she slept 12 hours uninterrupted, and so on. Over just 7 days of consistent routine and guidance from Hannah, Emma is sleeping through the night, and down for 2-3 naps a day. She goes to sleep on her own, in her crib, no tears... yes it is possible. There were some tears during the initial change of her routine (old routine = we were doing EVERYTHING wrong) but her tears never went unanswered, she knew mommy and daddy (or grandma's) were always nearby and there for wake time to love and smooch and squeeze her to pieces. To watch such a positive transformation is nothing short of amazing, each day we watched in awe as our little girl exceled and got the sleep that all tiny humans crave and need. . For my husband and I: It has allowed us to be better happier parents. We understand our baby more and what she needs when she needs it. We wake not exhausted. We have an idea of how each day will go so we can plan accordingly and it's not a roll of the dice, which allows us sanity. We have dinner together, watch a show together, sleep together (at same time in same bed!), little things you sometimes take for granted. It is still seems odd at times to wrap my head around Emma needing and actually getting this much sleep, and not having this tiny person attached to me all day and night long. But it has become our new normal, and my only regret is not contacting Hannah sooner. My routine baby shower gift from now on = Referral to Hannah...You're welcome mama's! #EmmasDreamTeam #NewNormals #DreamBabySleepConsultant #SleepTrain #HappyBabyHappyMamaHappyFamily

I was super skeptical, to be honest. I was just so fed up with wasting my money with professionals of all kind to help my little one. I am so glad I worked with Hannah! My quality of life as a new mom has improved dramatically! I started seeing miraculous results the very first day I started implementing the plan Hannah had given us to help my baby take naps during the day. I have struggled for so long and super maxed out on stress. I regret not buying the newborn package once my baby was born, it could have helped so much. Thank you Hannah!

positive review  Hannah helped us with our 4 month old after sleep regression hit us hard. Since we don't live in AZ (in fact not even in the US) we chose the email support. Hannah was INCREDIBLE! I am so grateful for her help! She even noticed half way through that we needed to change our plan - and now we are ALL sleeping! I didn't think it was possible that our sweet girl would nap and sleep in her crib - THANK YOU HANNAH!!!!

Let me just start by saying I THOUGHT THIS WAS IMPOSSIBLE. My daughter at 6 months was maybe sleeping a max of two hours straight and in the bed with me. I tried sleep training via Google search but nothing was working and everything told me something different. I never felt like i was doing the right thing. I finally did some research and found Hannah online. She contacted me immediately and set up a time for us to talk. She listened carefully as i told her my concerns and what our current situation was like. I ended up choosing the package with text/call help and it was the perfect thing for us. When we needed quick help or weren’t sure of something it was easy to just ask her for reassurance and guidance. She was so quick to respond always and checked in multiple times a day. I can tell she loves what she is doing. She genuinely wants to help. By the very first night my daughter slept 10 hours. I literally thought that only existed in fairytales. She goes to be at 7:30 and wakes at 7 every day. I am so thankful. This literally saved my life, my marriage, my job, everything. I am able to enjoy my daughter without being frustrated and exhausted from sleep deprivation. My husband and i now have 2-3 hours of alone time which is much needed. I have been able to begin a consistent workout regiment and have me time. This was the best purchase i have ever made. It is the most affordable and best bang for your buck sleep training program. Hannah is amazing and i am forever grateful.

positive review  Before I hired Hannah, my wife would drive our 18-mo. daughter around town for 30-60 minutes to get her to fall asleep. At night, our daughter would wake-up after 3-4 hours. When this happened, my wife had to transfer our girl from the crib to her bed to get our girl to fall back asleep. About 3-4 hours later, our girl would be up again after getting no more than 8 hours of total sleep. This lack of sleep understandably made our daughter into a cranky little person. Night 1 w/ Hannah - our daughter fell asleep on her own within 50 minutes and she slept through the night. Night 2 w/ Hannah - she fell asleep on her own within 10 minutes. She now puts herself to sleep within a few minutes and sleeps at least 11 hours straight each night. Her mid-day naps last approximately 2 hours with no issues at all. The increased sleep translates into improved behavior, better eating habits, and improved cognitive development. Just as important, my wife is getting better sleep! This investment into our baby's sleep was a no-brainer. I did expect the consultation to yield positive results, but I was not prepared for how immediate the results would be. I am completely satisfied with this service and I gratefully endorse A to Z Sleep Solutions with Hannah. Thanks again Hannah! Sincerely, Randy Krug

positive review  It has taken me exactly three years to figure out how to properly recommend A to Z Sleep Solutions. I have officially taken the newborn class twice, naps 101, and just recently the preschool class ( this is not counting the numerous times I have reached out for help due to travel or sickness or a new addition to the family.) Our oldest is turning three and we just transitioned to a toddler bed. I was so scared. I had heard horror stories from my friends that had already transitioned. Because of Hannah and her team our gal was up one time in the last two nights. No fighting or tears involved. I feel that Hannah provided me with ALL the tools, the science, the support. I credit her for our great sleepers and a three year old that still naps every day. Our family feels so thankful to have met you Hannah, I am not sure what our sleep would look like without your help.

I highly recommend Hannah! She is very sweet, knowledgeable, & supportive. I had to lay down (sometimes for over an hour) to get our 2 year old to sleep and then he would wake several times a night until he ended up in our bed (kicking and rolling all over the place). With Hannah's help, he now falls asleep on his own, in his room, and sleeps through the night! It wasn't an easy task and I thought about giving up at times; however, I am so glad we stuck with it - it was well worth it. Thanks Hannah for this life changer.

  • Hannah was an absolute life-saver for our family! At about the 4 month mark, our daughter had a major sleep regression and was waking 3-4 times a night and napping very little during the day. I was anxious about her weight and didn't know when or how it would be appropriate to wean her off of her night feedings. Hannah stepped in and offered a WEALTH of knowledge and compassion! Within a short 2-hour in home session, our daughter was napping peacefully and my husband and I were left with the knowledge and resources to keep the healthy sleep habits going. We highly recommend working with Hannah!

positive review  A yo Z Sleep Solutions is amazing and 110% knows their stuff! My girl wasn’t the best napper so i did the Naps 101 program. With Their guidance, within a few short days my 8 month old was putting herself to sleep and sleeping for 1-2+ hours for naps instead of her usual 30-45 minutes. In turn it helped improve her night sleep as well! I also learned so much about baby sleep in general. So now i feel confident about getting my girl to sleep for naps and bedtime and getting her to sleep isn’t a big ordeal anymore, just a simple routine and done! I fully recommend using A to Z Sleep Solutions for any of their programs!

Hannah has helped my babe sleep in her crib for all naps and night sleep, fall alseep on her own without nursing, without a binki, without a swaddle and without me in the room, extend her naps from 30 mins to well over an hour and sometimes up to 2 hrs. I will admit it, we were skeptical. Our babe was high needs, but she has made such amazing improvements. She used to only let me hold her. Seriously, no one else could hold her, not even her dad. That is changing and it's going to be amazing for my daughter to receive love from other people. I can't wait for her to realize how much love she has in her world. I have an older child so we need to be flexible, Hannah has helped me figure out how to do just that. I have been at the zoo all day and had my daughter do amazing and still fall asleep at night without any fuss. Hannah is attentive and supportive. She adjusted things for our lifestyle and our babe's needs/personality. I cannot say enough good things about Hannah and the service she provided us. I am actually sad I am not talking to her multiple times a day anymore. Love Dream Baby Sleep

Hannah was absolutely AMAZING! My son was just over 8 months old and wouldn't go to sleep without being bounced or rocked for at least 30 min and still would only sleep a max of 3 hr stretch. By day 3 he was putting himself to sleep and only waking up once at night. After day 5 he was sleeping a solid 12 hrs at night and actually had an amazing nap schedule! We were all much happier ! So grateful for all she did for us !!!

I discovered Hannah in a moment of desperation in the middle of the night while trying to get my screaming 2 year old to sleep. Hannah gained my trust in a quick 15 minute phone consult and I've utilized her expertise multiple times over the past few months. My 2 year old son decided to boycott sleeping at the same time that we brought home our newborn daughter. Not only were we dealing with a new baby up every few hours, but my son demanded that I sleep with him in his bed starting at 11pm every. single. night. Mornings were equally as rough as I get up for work at 5am so when my alarm went off in his bedroom, he was up for the day too! We decided since we were going to have Hannah help us sleep train our 2 year old, we might as well have her help us jump start our 5 month old also. Within 1 week, our son was sleeping by himself for 11+ hours and our daughter was out of our room/Rock n Play, in her own crib, dropped a feeding, and sleeping 7-8 hours! Prior to Hannah's intervention, I literally felt like a gray cloud followed me throughout my days... wondering how in the world I was going to get both my kids to have better sleep habits and if I would EVER feel energized again. My reoccurring thought to help my sanity was, "He'll eventually learn to sleep without me. Surely he won't want mom in his bed when he's 16?!" lol Hannah offered us the encouragement, attentiveness, knowledge, accessibility and optimism that we so desperately needed. If it wasn't for her and Dream Baby, we would still be 2 incredibly sleep deprived parents just barely getting through the day, and depriving our kids of the attention and energy that they deserved from us. There are no words to explain our appreciation for what Hannah has taught us; not only about the science behind sleep, but recommended feedings, daily schedules, etc for both kids. I will (and have) recommend her to every mom I know dealing with sleep issues (who isn't?!) She knows her stuff and is both passionate and compassionate about what she does. I promise you won't regret contacting her. Thank you, thank you, thank you Hannah! My entire family is happier because of you!

  • Hannah is absolutely a baby whisperer (even virtually!) and a wonderful expert in her field. My daughter is 4.5 months old. After 2.5 months of solely 45 minute naps and a 45 minute wake up after initial bedtime EVERY SINGLE NIGHT with some nights going smoothly after and some being a complete mess, I decided to contact Hannah after hearing about her in my facebook mom's group. Hannah made me feel completely at ease about this process. She put a plan in place, giving me options and tailoring our method completely to what I was comfortable with. She held my hand through everything and answered every text (there were a lot of them!) through our training. I saw huge differences even on the second day. By day 4 she was falling asleep in 2-10 minutes for every nap and bedtime, taking 3 good naps a day (2.5 hours in the afternoon) and waking only once or twice a night to eat. On our 5th night we got our first 8 hour stretch of sleep! She now sleeps 6:30pm-7am and I usually have to wake her up in the morning! Hannah always checked in even when she wasn't receiving my usual barrage of questions. It was so apparent that she is really invested in making sure her families succeed and feel good about the process. She was absolutely essential in teaching my child this lifelong skill and she helped us do it in such a seamless manner. I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Hannah was a life saver for us! At 9 months old my son was only taking 30 minute naps and sleeping max 2 hour stretches at night. The very first day we implemented our personalized plan, our son slept through the night. Within a very short period of time our son was like a new baby, and we were finally getting some rest and a full nights sleep. I’m now 9 months pregnant with baby #2 and we will be using Hannah as soon as we can to ensure our LO gets off to the best start! Can’t recommend Hannah enough!

When we found Hannah I was tired, exhausted and I thought my then 15 months old daughter would never be able to master sleep. She would still wake up several times at night and she would only go back to sleep holding on to one of my fingers in each hand. It had to be me sitting by her bed (nobody else would do) and I had sat there for hours, for every time she would wake up and for every nap she took. Since I am also very sensitive about my children crying I had thought I couldn’t do anything about the situation I was in. Hannah however came up with a customized plan that was suitable for our parenting style. And she provided a lot of support and assistance throughout the whole process. It wasn’t easy but absolutely worth it. After about 5 weeks of working with her my daughter has been consistently sleeping through the night. I am now able to just lay her in bed (following our bedtime routine) and she will go to sleep without shedding a tear. She takes great naps most days and is a happier toddler all around. Hannah was a God send for us! I would recommend any parent struggling with their child’s sleep to give her a call. It will change your life!
