Certified Advanced Sensitive Sleep Consultant

I was born and raised in New Zealand as one of 8 children. Being in a large family I have always been around babies and children.  I became a single mum at 19, but I didn’t let that stop me from putting myself through nursing school in 2006. I graduated three years later as a registered nurse.

I was privileged to work as a community pediatric in-home nurse, doing well-child checkups and helping families have the information they needed to be prepared for their growing babies. As a pediatric nurse, my experience included, but was not limited to, breastfeeding support, nutrition support, sleep help, and many other important aspects of care.

In my spare time, I loved being a mum to my growing son, being a part of my local church, and opening my home to foster children in my local community. In the three years, I was a foster mum, I had over 80 children in and out of my home. It was a huge eye-opening experience. Although heartbreaking at times it was definitely rewarding.

I married the love of my life in 2012. Nick and I had known each other for over ten years and he lived in the United States. Once married, I started the process of migrating to the states. Once I relocated, I saw an unmet need. Many new parents were struggling to get their children to sleep. They lacked support and resources. The fatigue, frustrations, and anxiety caused by sleep struggles were eroding their homes, their jobs, and their marriages.

In 2015, I completed my training as a Baby Sleep Consultant through the international accredited Baby Sleep Consultant. In 2020 continuing my sleep training education, I received the title Advanced Sensitive Sleep Consultant, from the Institute of Sensitive Sleep Consulting.  They are also now using our REST model to help educate sleep consultant’s worldwide.

Now, a mother of seven, including one set of twins, I am able to use all of my professional and personal experiences to give back to parents in need. This is a huge passion of mine. I set out each day to offer hope and help one family at a time by offering support to new parents, as well as even the on-going care families need to receive.

My name is Grace Lindvall. I am a mom of 3 beautiful little loves and wife to my husband Will. Prior to joining the A to Z Sleep Team I was a teacher in the classroom for five years. I graduated from ASU in 2016 with an interdisciplinary degree, went on to teach at my alma mater high school and once our family started growing I knew it was time to make a shift. I eagerly joined Hannah’s team after having her help sleep training my daughter and realized that I LOVE the troubleshooting and configuring that it involves. One of my favorite parts of this job is being able to walk alongside parents and encourage them as we seek to get them better sleep. I firmly believe in the saying that sleep is not a privilege, but a biological right.

If you asked me what I wanted to be when I was four years old it was never a ballerina dancer or astronaut. It was always a mother. I had tons of baby dolls and spent my days lovingly feeding and rocking them. The drive to become a mother never left me through college and into my early years of searching for a career. Even though I always gave it my all, nothing ever felt right or truly fulfilled me. In 2019 my dreams finally came true and my husband and I welcomed our first son. Finally I felt like I had a purpose and i dived into motherhood head first. But unfortunately, I quickly realized that all my practicing as a 4 year old with my baby dolls had not prepared me for the real thing, especially when it came to sleep. One very late and desperate night I found Hannah and she gave me my sleep and sanity back. Years later she also helped me with my daughter.

While I was working with Hannah on my children’s sleep I developed a passion for pediatric sleep. For the first time I could see myself as more than a stay at home mom. I never wanted another mother to feel as I did during the depths of sleep depravation. My family is now living in Massachusetts on Cape Cod and I am so incredibly privileged to belong to a community that has many services to help new parents. Our greatest goal is the prevention of postpartum mood disorders. I am so excited to add my services and help my community in anyway that I can.

Although sleep is a biological necessity, that does not mean that it comes easy to every baby. There are so many pieces of the puzzle that need to be in place for sleep to come together. Expecting new and sleep deprived parents to figure this all out on their own is simply impossible. It is my hope that I can be a lighthouse for parents during the dark and seemingly endless nights and help them achieve all their goals.

  • positive review  After baby waking up constantly in the middle of the night (ending up in our bed every night) and needing to be held for 30-45 naps, we decided to get some much needed help from Hannah! It was the best decision we’ve made for us and baby in the last 7 months! Baby is now sleeping 12 hours a night + 2 solid naps a day IN HIS CRIB! He is able to completely put himself to sleep now without any help and Mom & Dad are able to get some quality time together while baby sleeps! I would highly recommend Hannah’s sleeping expertise!

Hannah is a lifesaver. We were battling some serious nap and sleep issues with our 8 month old daughter and were at a complete loss. We tried all the tricks, drove around town while she napped in the car, held her for naps, fought bedtime, went crazy basically. She was an unhappy, overtired baby and none of us enjoyed the days. And dealing with postpartum depression made it even worse all around. Hannah provided support and encouragement, as well as a detailed analysis of our baby's sleep troubles. Within a day we saw immediate improvement. Evelyn overnight became a happier baby and began to nap wonderfully. We almost thought it was too good to be true. Hannah provided us with simple suggestions and a range of options to fit our family's style and comfort level. Is every day perfect with sleep? Of course not, that's not realistic! But we have a plan to help provide Evelyn the best possible situation for healthy sleep and we know what to do to help her get back on track for those days that don't go so well. Totally recommend Hannah and she is worth every penny!

Let me just start by saying I THOUGHT THIS WAS IMPOSSIBLE. My daughter at 6 months was maybe sleeping a max of two hours straight and in the bed with me. I tried sleep training via Google search but nothing was working and everything told me something different. I never felt like i was doing the right thing. I finally did some research and found Hannah online. She contacted me immediately and set up a time for us to talk. She listened carefully as i told her my concerns and what our current situation was like. I ended up choosing the package with text/call help and it was the perfect thing for us. When we needed quick help or weren’t sure of something it was easy to just ask her for reassurance and guidance. She was so quick to respond always and checked in multiple times a day. I can tell she loves what she is doing. She genuinely wants to help. By the very first night my daughter slept 10 hours. I literally thought that only existed in fairytales. She goes to be at 7:30 and wakes at 7 every day. I am so thankful. This literally saved my life, my marriage, my job, everything. I am able to enjoy my daughter without being frustrated and exhausted from sleep deprivation. My husband and i now have 2-3 hours of alone time which is much needed. I have been able to begin a consistent workout regiment and have me time. This was the best purchase i have ever made. It is the most affordable and best bang for your buck sleep training program. Hannah is amazing and i am forever grateful.

  • positive review  After having Hannah’s coaching and overnight stay, my LO is now sleeping from 630-7a with one wake up to feed & we are only on day4! I anticipate she’ll be sleeping until wakeup within the next day or so based on her tremendous progress! She is nearly 5 months and was waking an hour after being put down and then 4-6 times overnight and often taking a bottle up to 3 times overnight and daytime naps were brief and unpleasant for her and we had a very overtired cranky baby (& Mommy Lol) before working with Hannah. I haven’t slept this well since she was born and neither has my baby! Very grateful for the coaching, guidance and support - we now have a happier family all around. So worth it.

positive review  A yo Z Sleep Solutions is amazing and 110% knows their stuff! My girl wasn’t the best napper so i did the Naps 101 program. With Their guidance, within a few short days my 8 month old was putting herself to sleep and sleeping for 1-2+ hours for naps instead of her usual 30-45 minutes. In turn it helped improve her night sleep as well! I also learned so much about baby sleep in general. So now i feel confident about getting my girl to sleep for naps and bedtime and getting her to sleep isn’t a big ordeal anymore, just a simple routine and done! I fully recommend using A to Z Sleep Solutions for any of their programs!

When we started working with Hannah our daughter was 9 months old and would not go to sleep without nursing or sleep in her crib. No one was getting any decent sleep and I really didn't think anything was going to change this. Everyone kept telling me that she needed to cry it out or I just had to wait for it get better. Neither of these things sounded like a good option. Hannah asked us thoughtful questions and was able to give us a wonderful sleep plan we could work with. Because our daughter was a bit older it took longer to change her sleep patterns but we did, and she is now a great sleeper in her own bed. She also naps on a regular schedule and does not have to be nursed to sleep. I had a done a lot of reading on my own but all the advice got very confusing. Hannah was able to streamline all that advice into something that made sense for our family. Thank you Hannah for all your help!! The Haley Family

  • I have met Hannah several times, at various places. I went to several of her coffee sessions and gleaned as much information as I could. She hands out helpful pamphlets, which are great to have at home because it's so easy to forget things. My daughter, who is now almost 1, had NEVER in her life slept a stretch longer than 5 hours, until I started working with Hannah. We had gone through every permutation of helping her to sleep- bedsharing, crib in the room, crib side-car...When I started working with Hannah, my husband had been sleeping on the floor of my daughter's room for 3 weeks trying to gently coach her to sleep. She was crying so much each night, though, that we were ready to quit that and put her back int he bed. I even bought a king sized bed, in anticipation of bedsharing for the foreseeable future. Cue Hannah: the VERY FIRST DAY, she slept her longest stretch ever. As I made changes to my routines, schedule, and meals, it only got better. I was shocked that it seemed so easy- my daughter never cried more than 40 minutes (she was previously crying for at least 2 hours a night with us in the room). She got so good at sleep, I would put her in her crib for naps or bed, she'd roll over, and just fall asleep. It was like magic. I can't recommend Hannah enough. She was kind, understanding, put my fears at ease, and answered my questions quickly and clearly. If you're ready to make a change (YOU need to be ready, because consistency is the key), talking to Hannah will be the best thing you've done.

I reached out to Hannah after my daughter hit the 4 month sleep regression in November. She became dependent on me to help her fall asleep and stay asleep for naps and nighttime sleep. It was taking me away from interacting with my 2 ½ year old and left me with absolutely no “alone” time. I started feeling desperate, anxious, and resentful living on such little sleep and with no improvement in sight. I was lucky enough to have met Hannah at a breastfeeding mothers support group in October, so I reached out to her after a particularly awful day. We began talking and soon decided to start a sleep training program tailored to me and my baby. After reading through the instructions, I was honestly pretty skeptical and unsure if I could follow through. The first couple of days we tried the sleep training we were inconsistent and I nearly gave up. However, my husband and I talked at length with Hannah, who reassured us and made us feel comfortable with the plan. With everyone finally on board, we jumped into the program and saw improvements within a week. I began to see that in order to be a good mother, I needed to lead and set the limits and expectations for my children’s sleep. Instead of letting the tiny humans dictate when/how they slept, I was finally acting like their mother who provided them with healthy sleeping habits. I quickly began to notice a change in my baby’s disposition once her sleep consolidated. She was happy, inquisitive, bright, and eager to learn new skills. Once the holidays hit, her sleep derailed slightly due to teething and visiting family. But since she had a sturdy sleep foundation to fall back on, she is back to “sleeping like a baby”. I feel so grateful to Hannah for her advice, coaching, and faith that I could see this process through to its conclusion.

positive review  Samantha was such a pleasure to work with. We’ve struggled with our daughter’s sleep from the beginning. (She’s 22 months.) I’ve read books and Pinterest articles and talked to two pediatricians. But it wasn’t until Samantha gave us the tools and then empowered us to use them properly that we got her sleeping through the night. I’m so grateful we found Samantha and A to Z Sleep Solutions.

  • Kate Swanson was our sleep trainer and she was exactly what we needed and the right time. We had been through lots of sleep training before we found her. I was worried we had tried everything we could think of and my daughter was still taking hours to go to sleep and not sleeping through the night at 2 years old. I felt Kate listened to everything we had been through and tried already and came up with a plan that was exactly what we needed. This was a last ditch effort for us before baby #2 came. I wanted it to work but was afraid the sleep training wouldn't work just like it hadn't in the past. We learned what we had been doing wrong and what to change and had a different, positive approach this time. We saw a change right away and things improved almost nightly. We had the usual couple of bad nights after several goods nights as my daughter tried one last time to get what she wanted. But we pushed through and now we know how to get through sleep regressions. And I still have Kate as support when questions come up. This was an amazing experience and my entire family is sleeping more and better every night.

Of all people, my husband told me about hiring a sleep consultant when our LO was only 4 months. I was hesitant but by 6 months I was worn out and gave in. And so glad I did. Hannah was one of the bet decisions we have ever made! My daughter would only sleep on me whether it was for naps or bedtime. I would have to stand and rock her and sometimes that would take hours and then once she would fall asleep she would wake back up 30 minutes later. Also, at night she was up every hour on the hour. Around midnight one of those nights I contacted Hannah and received a quick response. The next day we had a phone consult and within a few days we were already starting the sleep training. I chose to have Hannah come over the first night. I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right and also wanted the support of someone who had the knowledge behind all of this. After the week of text messages all day guiding me and helping me understand my baby's schedule and why we were doing what we did each day my 6 month old is actually sleeping in a crib and not on me!!!! She takes three naps a day religiously and sleeps from 7p-7:30a.. I feed her once to twice a night. I'll take that any day over the hourly feeds we were doing prior to Hannah. After one night with Hannah I was very hopefully and by the end of the first week I was overly excited to know my baby is getting the proper sleep she needs and that this mama could enjoy taking a shower again. 🙂 I highly recommend Dream Baby Sleep Consultants.

  • I met Hannah at a Q and A session she did at a mom group. I just want to thank Hannah for her ever so helpful tips! I was an emotional mess last week. Knock on wood this is night 3 now with no crying or tears to go to sleep. She rolls herself right over onto her side or belly and falls asleep within minutes now. I'm so happy! Thank you Hannah for the advice and the courage to keep trying! I feel like I made a friend in you. You make motherhood seem possible

I cannot thank Hannah enough for helping me get my 17 moth old toddler, from co-sleeping to sleeping on his own. I was the parent that could not stand the thought of my child crying himself to sleep but I was at my wits end. I searched for all kinds of answers and read many books. I also hired a "sleep coach' to help me 3 months prior to hiring Hannah, and that experience turned sour. You can truly tell that Hannah loves what she does and is not in it for the money. She gave us a few gentle sleep options to help me get my son to sleeping on his own. My son was sleeping 12 hours on his own for the second night. Hannah has always been there for me from day I messaged her on FB. Not only has she been there for me to help with sleep for my son, but many other topics/issues as a first time mom. She has helped me gain my sanity back. I feel rested again! I had no idea how being sleep deprived can affect almost everything in your life. With that being said, sleep is so important for the whole family. Message me if you have any questions.

  • positive review  It has taken me exactly three years to figure out how to properly recommend A to Z Sleep Solutions. I have officially taken the newborn class twice, naps 101, and just recently the preschool class ( this is not counting the numerous times I have reached out for help due to travel or sickness or a new addition to the family.) Our oldest is turning three and we just transitioned to a toddler bed. I was so scared. I had heard horror stories from my friends that had already transitioned. Because of Hannah and her team our gal was up one time in the last two nights. No fighting or tears involved. I feel that Hannah provided me with ALL the tools, the science, the support. I credit her for our great sleepers and a three year old that still naps every day. Our family feels so thankful to have met you Hannah, I am not sure what our sleep would look like without your help.

Our 7 month old baby was having the hardest time sleeping through the night and settling himself down to go to sleep. We found that from newborn to about 5 months he was be perfect baby. Didn’t have to rock him to sleep or help him to sleep. He went down on his own. But as soon as 7 Months hit everything changed!!! He was starting to only sleep in our room, had to be rocked to sleep and was waking every 2 hours and never really napping. Thankfully, Hannah came in and saved our lives - literally! We felt we were drained and fading day by day and not being the full attentive parents we wanted to be. Hannah carefully guided us through each and every stage and each and every process. Her kindness, attentiveness and consistency really helped us guide our baby to a sleep pattern we knew that he could always achieve. I would recommend Hannah, the program and this company to ANYONE! The extra attention even after our program was “done” really helped us in those times of emergency. Thank you thank you a million times over!!

Hannah was a life saver for us! At 9 months old my son was only taking 30 minute naps and sleeping max 2 hour stretches at night. The very first day we implemented our personalized plan, our son slept through the night. Within a very short period of time our son was like a new baby, and we were finally getting some rest and a full nights sleep. I’m now 9 months pregnant with baby #2 and we will be using Hannah as soon as we can to ensure our LO gets off to the best start! Can’t recommend Hannah enough!

  • Hannah was such an amazing support during our sleep training with our son. We ended up having to have 2 weeks of support from her, as our son decided he was going to dig his heels in! She helped us modify our plan to help our son get the sleep he needed. She also helped us realize that giving our son a little more space is what he needed to calm down. That was hard for me, but once she helped me see that, our son did much better. Our son's sleep is definitely a work in progress still, but we feel Hannah has given us the tools to forge ahead and keep helping our son learn strong sleep skills/habits. I appreciated Hannah's caring and empathetic approach. I always felt like I was important to Hannah and that I had her undivided attention when we would talk. I am glad we didn't wait any longer to seek Hannah's support as she has helped our family so much! Thank you Hannah!

positive review  Hannah is wonderful to work with... I am a first time mom and I have a lot of anxiety.. my baby used to nap on me for the first 4 months of his life and slept in a packnplay in our room after hours of bouncing and would get up a couple of times and then have early morning wake ups... he didn’t sleep more than 8 hours a night and was fussy all day... after working with Hannah for 2-3 weeks he is sleeping 12+ hours a night, I put him in his crib and he goes to sleep without crying in his own room! I have my life back and my nights are free to hang out with my husband! Thank you Hannah!

Our little one hit a huge sleep regression around 3.5 months. She went from sleeping 6 hour stretches to waking ever 1-2 hours at night. She would cry until she was fed or until I caved and let her sleep in bed with us. After a few weeks of this and trying cry it out unsuccessfully, I thought we would never sleep. My husband and I were skeptical that someone could help us without even meeting us or knowing our baby, but we were desperate. Hannah gave us the tools we needed to help our little one fall asleep on her own with little to no tears. After following Hannah's plan we noticed results within days and now after a few weeks she only wakes once at night to eat. When we hit a little speed bump in her sleeping, we feel confident on how to handle it. This experience has been a blessing and mom, dad and baby are getting better sleep because of it. Worth every penny in my opinion!
